(May 2, 2014) – The City of Hartford will begin street milling and paving operations at several locations as part of its ongoing Capital Improvement Projects. Over nine centerline miles of pavement are scheduled for rehabilitation, representing an investment of $2 million dollars in City infrastructure for the current fiscal year. The work will bring the total road milling and repaving investment under Mayor Segarra to $13.3 million dollars.
Work is scheduled to run as continuously as possible, and should be completed by Summer of this year. During construction, drivers should be alert for modified traffic patterns, short travel delays, and construction vehicles entering and exiting work sites.
