(May 13, 2014) Tomorrow morning, Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra will participate in a news conference regarding the 2014 Hartford Marathon.
At noon, Mayor Segarra will join Governor Malloy, Commissioner Pryor, members of the Hartford Board of Education and other local officials at a Hartford Public School for an announcement on graduation rates.
At 5:30pm, he will give remarks at the Eighth Annual Tribute to Hispanic Veterans Ceremony at the State Capitol.
Shortly after, Mayor Segarra will attend at the SC2 Hartford Community event in Bushnell Park. The SC2 Hartford Challenge is an EDA grant-funded opportunity where qualified teams create economic development plans that spur job growth and drive urban revitalization. Cash prizes totaling $900,000 will be awarded to finalists in the two-phased competition.
