HARTFORD PARKING BAN LIFTED AT NOON TODAY

HARTFORD PARKING BAN LIFTED AT NOON TODAY

HARTFORD, CONN. (January 17, 2018) – Mayor Luke Bronin announced that the snow parking ban will end at noon today, Wednesday, January 17th.  The ban was originally scheduled to end at 9 PM today, January 17th.  The City has received approximately 4 inches of snow and, according to the latest forecasts, does not expect to see any more significant accumulation today.

City plows will continue to clear snow and slush from the roads as needed in the afternoon.  Ordinarily after parking bans residents have 2 hours to remove cars from Hartford Public Schools lots and 6 hours to remove cars from Blue Light Lots, but given the change in this parking ban, the City will stick to the schedule announced yesterday in terms of towing and ticketing after the ban ends.  Residents still have until 11 PM tonight to remove cars from Hartford Public Schools lots and until 3 AM, Thursday, January 18th, to remove cars from Blue Light Lots.
