(July 30, 2013) — Thursday, August 1st, 2013, is the last day to pay City of Hartford real estate, personal property, and motor vehicle taxes due for the first installment of the 2012 Grand List. Payment may be made in person, via mail, or online at http://www.hartford.gov/tax
If you wish to pay in person, the Tax Collector’s office is in City Hall, at 550 Main St, Room 106. For the convenience of taxpayers, the Tax Collector’s office will offer extended hours Wednesday, July 31st, and Thursday, August 1st, from 8:15am through 7:00pm.
If you wish to pay by mail, please be aware that payment must be postmarked August 1st or earlier to be considered paid on time. The mailing address for payment is:

Payments should be made payable to “Tax Collector - City of Hartford.”
If you wish to pay online, go to http://www.hartford.gov/tax, and click the link that reads “Pay/View Taxes Online.” The City’s payment system accepts both debit and credit cards.
