Parking Ban is Lifted; Schools Open on Thursday
(February 13, 2013) – Mayor Pedro E. Segarra made the following statement regarding Hartford’s winter storm recovery efforts.
“All streets are passable, 90% of streets in the Central Business District are cleared curb to curb. We’re focused on hauling the snow out of here and widening streets as much as possible. Our progress is evident. The EOC closed today and we’re getting back to normal. Schools will be open tomorrow.”
Streets 100% Passable; Hartford Schools Closed Tomorrow; Parking Ban Lifts at Noon in Downtown Only
(February 12, 2013) – Mayor Pedro E. Segarra has announced significant progress opening roads and removing snow in Hartford. City offices are open. All streets are passable and parking ban lifts in Downtown only at 12pm and Citywide at midnight on Thursday, February 14. Hartford public schools will be closed on Wednesday. City trash collection is suspended until further notice.
(February 12, 2013) – Today at 5pm, Mayor Pedro E. Segarra will hold a press briefing at the City Emergency Operations Center to provide media and residents with the latest updates on the winter storm clean-up efforts. Citywide parking ban in Hartford is still in effect.
Clean Up Efforts Progress; Almost All Roads Are Open
(February 11, 2013) – Mayor Pedro E. Segarra has closed all public schools on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 to expedite continued storm clean-up. City offices are closed due to the Holiday.
